Oracle + HP Tape Automation Partners

Hewlett-Packard is an OEM supplier and tape business partner with Oracle. Oracle sells LTO and entry level tape automation solutions that they OEM from HP under the Oracle brand.

This partnership includes several Oracle/HP offerings:

• The Oracle Storagetek SL24 and SL48 tape libraries; which offer customers industry leading capacity and performance in the entry level tape automation market
• Oracle offers HP LTO tape drives in all of its SL500, SL3000 and SL8500 automation platforms as well as in desktop/rackmount models
• HP also buys Oracle heads for all of its LTO drives and the resells Oracle's SL500 tape library in its branded channel
